Digital Images to Slides - Upload your Files

Imagine your digital camera images printed into beautiful 35mm color slides! Preserve your memories forever before your hard drive fails.

Choose an option below to upload your files to us.

First, the most important thing is to add your last name to your file names, or we can't tell whose files are whose. This step is not necessary if you use our New Easy Upload Application.
There are 5 options to send your files to us...
New Easy Upload Application, Email, YouSendIt Upload, FTP Upload or Ship a disk by snail mail.
Option 1: New Easy Way: ColorSlide.biz Upload Application
Our new Upload Application is located on our other website, ColorSlide.biz. It has several gigabytes of space and each upload features complete privacy. No one can see or download your images. This application works well with all web browsers except Safari. We suggest uploading your images in groups of 20. Repeat for more files.

Option 2: Email your files to one of the addresses below:

Your files should be 3-4 MB or less, because the email servers along the Internet will not pass on larger files to us. If you attach several files, their sizes add together and the total size may exceed the limit. We recommend sending one file per email message.

Option 3: Use YouSendIt to send your files to us:

YouSendIt is a free service that lets you send up to 100 MB of files. It's easy, so try it! Use a program like StuffIt or WinZip to zip several files into one file to upload.

Option 4: Upload your files via FTP (File Transfer Protocol): Copy and Paste the following information exactly as you see it into your FTP program.
MAIN FTP SITE: unlimited upload space
Profile name: ColorSlide.com
Host name: ftp.colorslide.com
Host type: Automatic
User ID: slide@colorslide.com
Password: slide-upload
Do not checkmark the Anonymous box.
Click the Apply button.
Click OK.

ALTERNATE FTP SITE: unlimited upload space

Host name: ftp.colorslide.net/incoming
Host type: Automatic
User ID: ftp@colorslide.net
Password: slide-upload
Do not checkmark the Anonymous box.
Click the Apply button.
Click OK.

The left window represents your computer and the right window represents our FTP space. Navigate to your file, click it and then click the center arrow to send it over to the right window. Make sure the Binary option along the bottom is checked. If you have several files, highlight them all and upload them all at once.
For our Windows Clients: If you need a Windows FTP program, download one here. Ws_ftple.exe is an older version, but it works great. For a newer version go to http://www.ipswitch.com/ and download a free evaluation version. You can use it to upload after you install it by entering the above info.
For our Mac Clients: Download "Fetch" which is an FTP program for Mac and use the "raw data" setting (older versions of Fetch) or the "binary" setting (newer versions of Fetch) mentioned above. Use the same log-in information above.
To indicate to us which files are yours, name them with your last name (i.e.: lastname1.jpg, lastname2.jpg...) or use the email link above to send us a list of your file names.
Option 5: Ship large files overnight (or slower) on CD, DVD or Zip Disk:
We accept Mac or PC Iomega Zip 100 Disks, Zip 250 Disks, CD-ROMs and DVDs via some delivery service. Do not send a CD-RW because that can only be read on your computer, not ours. Send a CD-R and choose a format that can be read on any computer. Please send your package with no signature required.
